The success of Independence Day presented by Bank of America is due largely to the amazing team of volunteers who volunteer their time to ensure that the event goes off without a hitch. 2017 Volunteer Training Sessions
All Independence Day volunteers must attend a training session, approx. 1 hour. Trainings take place at the Artillery Barracks Building located 600 Hatheway Rd, Vancouver, WA 98661.
Volunteer training sessions will be announced spring of 2017!
At the training, you will receive the volunteer shift you have been assigned to, receive your packet with information about volunteering for the event, as well as your volunteer t-shirt and admission ticket.

- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older without an accompanying adult. An exception can be made for those participating as part of an organized and supervised group.
- Volunteers must wear the volunteer t-shirt that is provided to them and wear closed-toe shoes. Please dress according to the weather forecast!
- Only those volunteering will be allowed to receive free admission, a parking pass, and the provided volunteer t-shirt.
- We depend on your commitment to participate. Your presence and timely arrival for your shifts are necessary!

Sell and scan tickets, assist vehicles, and hand out programs at one of the entry gates.
Greet visitors in our covered information booth, distribute programs, and give directions for event activities.
