2017 Volunteer Training Sessions
All Independence Day volunteers must attend one of the below training sessions, which are approximately 1 hour long. Trainings take place at the Artillery Barracks Building located 600 Hatheway Rd, Vancouver, WA 98661. If you cannot make it to either training session, please contact us at (360) 992-1804 to see if other arrangements can be made.
Volunteer Training Session #1: Wednesday, June 21, 5:30 p.m.
Volunteer Training Session #2: Saturday, June 24, 9:30 a.m
At the training, you will receive the volunteer shift you have been assigned to, receive your packet with information about volunteering for the event, as well as your volunteer t-shirt and parking pass.

- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older without an accompanying adult. An exception can be made for those participating as part of an organized and supervised group.
- Volunteers must wear the volunteer t-shirt that is provided to them and wear closed-toe shoes. Please dress according to the weather forecast!
- Only those volunteering will be allowed to receive a parking pass and volunteer t-shirt.
- We depend on your commitment to participate. Your presence and timely arrival for your shifts are necessary!
